TENS is a noninvasive form of treatment that rather than using needles, it uses electro stimulation first administered in the hospital and then continued in the patient’s home. The Department of Ayurvedic Medicine was introduced to the Alternative Medicine family at Batra Hospital in 1996.

The hospital is the first in Delhi to offer such services. Ayurvedic Medicine teachings state "that no doctor on this earth can provide you perfect health unless you yourself are not interested to live healthy." Patients treated with this method are taught about the three biological humors of the body and how to teach the body’s functions to function as they are meant to. The Department Of Homoeopathic Medicine is the third department in Batra Hospital’s Alternative Medicine practice. This department was introduced to the hospital in 1996 under the principle “Let likes be treated by likes.”

Batra Hospital offers its patients both traditional and unique treatment plans for common healthcare issues. As a new foundation they have been recognized for their excellence in traditional and alternative medical services.
