Lilavati Hospital & Research Center in Bombay

In 1978 the Lilavati Kirtilal Mehta Medical Trust opened the Lilavati Hospital and Research Center in Bombay.

This three hundred bed hospital is a multi-specialty facility that reaches out to the poor and indigent neighborhoods of Bombay.

Lilavati Hospital recently opened its door in December 2008 to their new dental clinic. This dental clinic is the first to work with a state-of-the-art microscope. It is also capable of cutting the surgery time by 20% - 30% which allows for a faster recovery period.

The new dental center specializes in cosmetic and aesthetic procedures as well as pediatric care. The Department of Cardiology offers both non-invasive and all-encompassing surgeries. The Department of Dermatology performs outpatient services ranging from general acne treatment to surgical dermatologic procedures as well as HIV related counseling and treatment.
