There are several Maternity Hospitals in Bangalore. Apollo has a maternity package which is disappointing; multibed is the most economical, followed by twin bed, and private bed. There have been some negative reports on Apollo in Bangalore as far as costs and wasting money are concerned. In other words testing for the wrong thing.
Bangalore has a very good cardiac care and state of the art international hi – tech heart care. Patients pour in from Asia and Africa. The city has the highest density of corporate hospitals and nine exclusive cardiac care hospitals. Heart care specialists perform at least one thousand surgeries each year. Banalore’s heart hospitals with their professional managers, corporations, specialist doctors and hi tech equipment are giving a tough fight to other major leading cities in India. It could be better if they had more direct international flights. The high competition among Bangalore’s heart hospitals has reduced the price of surgery.
